New at Habitat

I figured I would go over to my favorite UK website to see what’s new at the uber famous Habitat. Known for its chic design products and affordable prices, this European shopping mecca has it all. Here are a few of my favorites from their Fall Collection which is filled with moody shades of plum and black, a color combo that I am really loving right now.

Their new Concetta Collection designed by Concetta Gallo is absolutely gorgeous. Mixing color, pattern and scale, each piece in the collection seems almost surreal, as if reflecting a vivid dream. You may have also seen the Tingi Slotted Candleholder in Living Etc. Powder coated steel in a variety of colors, this piece not only reflects good design, but at an affordable price. Oh, how I wish I lived in the UK. Then there’s this beautiful Tucana Frame. I love how it’s a bit rough around the edges. It feels baroque, but with a little bit of a punk rock edge to it.

You will always find something new and amazing at Habitat. I only hope that one day they will open a US store. Until that time, I will continue to dream of all the great finds I could have if only I lived in the UK.
