Have you ever walked into a store, and needed to catch your breath? That’s how I felt when I walked into West Elm’s new flagship store in Washington D.C. This gorgeous two-storey building in the middle of D.C.’s Gallery-Place/Chinatown district offers a feast for the eyes.
With an amazing layout, jaw-dropping showcases, and of course, all of the amazing furniture and accessories, I felt that I had stumbled upon the holy grail of home decor. I thought I would take a few pics to give you a tour of what this flagship store has to offer.
The shop was full of these beautiful vignettes. Purples, berrys, reds, I was overwhelmed by the brilliant hues that were absolutely everywhere.
Of course I had to take a photos of this tablescape. I love how natural elements are layered to create a stunning holiday table.
More berry and purple. It was everywhere! I was on complete sensory overload.
I love this sleek holiday table. It is perfect for the modern home. A little glitz and glam in a modern palette.
Of course at this time of year holiday decor is everywhere. Look at all of these balls, baubles and funky Christmas stockings. It truly was a winter wonderland.
I absolutely cannot wait to go home for the holidays. I already have a date with a friend to go back and visit West Elm next month. If you’re in D.C., you must stop by West Elm’s flagship store, and I beg you, for my sake, can you please ask them to build a store here in San Francisco? I am so lost without a West Elm.
