Cool Mom Picks

I can’t wait to be a cool mom someday, but until then, I will have to settle for being a really cool aunt. I have had so many friends have babies this year, and I find myself on the hunt for the perfect first Christmas gift for all of these little guys. Well, if you’re on the same search, look no further than Cool Mom Picks Holiday Gift Guide 2007, offering absolutely fabulous gifts for kids from simple building blocks to over-the-top gifts including music lessons from a member of the New York Pops for $500. Here are couple of things that caught my eye.

For your little guy who loves to rock, this drum kit made from sustainable wood would make an amazing gift. You have to love the price too, only $50.

I recently saw the Dangerous Book for Boys and the Daring Book for Girls in Barnes ‘N Noble. Inviting girls and boys to have amazing adventures, these will be fun for those future daredevils.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but band aids have a come a long way. These tattoo bandages from Fred Flare are a cute stocking stuffer.

And if you’re like me, you’ll love this handcrafted toy airplane. Plastic toys are so overrated. Kids will love this old fashioned plane from The Silly Wagon.

If you want to be seen as that ultra cool aunt and uncle coming in with a fabulous Christmas gift, I recommend that you check out the holiday guide at Cool Mom Picks. The kids will love you for it.

Happy Friday!

I think you’re our new favorite Aunt reader. If you feel like adding our holiday button to your blog we’ll enter you to win $250 worth of goodies from Zutano so you can be even cooler than the cool Aunt you already seem to be. (Details on the gift guide.)By the way, the photo you featured is the ride-on plane by Pastel Toys at < HREF="" REL="nofollow">The Silly Wagon<>. Although the one from stump pond is just amazing too – if a whole lot smaller.

I really like this list. I am a boy’s mom, trying to be cool. My son is 2 1/2yrs. old, and I find he loves anything that is very colorful or imaginative. I like the tattoo bandages and the airplane.
