I was so happy to receive this invitation from New York art gallery, Gallery Hanahou. Featuring the works of some of my favorite artists, including illustrators like Stina Persson, Gallery Hanahou helps artists to express themselves through commercial media. Their latest exhibit, Head Games Dress Candy, is definitely a must see.
Featuring the work of fashion illustrator Sara Singh and jewelry designer Arlene Guerra of P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing), this exhibit is sure to be something special. Complementing each other’s work, Singh will present busts carved from plywood which will be accompanied by Guerra’s latest collection of bright and funky candy-colored jewelry.
I recently took a look at Sara’s portfolio, and am sure that you will not be disappointed by the work of this fashion-forward artist.
If you love fashion illustration, silhouettes, and funky jewelry as much as I do, this is one show you won’t want to miss. A special reception will be held this evening from 6pm – 9pm EST at the gallery, so go and check it out. And if you’re wondering if any of the work will be for sale, I already checked – work will be available on the gallery’s site.
