Twiga Gallery

I am fascinated by art that you can wear, and more importantly, art that gives back. That’s why I was struck by the work at San Francisco art gallery, Twiga. Featuring the work of Tanzania-born artist, Twiga, fine jewelery at this gallery is handmade with each piece containing materials that date back at least a century. It’s no wonder that these original jewelry pieces have been featured in Vogue, Architectural Digest and in several museum exhibits.

Even more inspiring, beyond the beautiful work showcased, Twiga also has its own non-profit organization, The Mbinga Children’s Organization, which helps build schools for youth in Tanzania.

The work at Twiga is inspiring. African design with a modern interpretation, that also serves to help those in need.
