I have to tell you that I am SO excited about yesterday’s result! I am still pinching myself. Is this all a dream? It is, and one that I am so happy has come true.
On November 4th we had an incredible Obama Election Party with friends. Even though the party is over, here are some ideas as you plan your Obama Inauguration gathering – January 20, 2009.
Vote buttons were hung from vines to form a centerpiece for the table.
Guests received buttons as favors. Zazzle is a terrific resource for shirts and buttons.
I cut some photos from an election party postcard, and made these vases. They were filled with red, white and blue candy to fit with the electoral theme.
The red, white and blue election theme also made its way in through drinks for the party. The Prosperity Red was my favorite!
Magazine covers featuring our candidate were transformed into eye-catching works of art. $2 frames from Walgreens became the perfect accent piece.
But the most important part of any event is a diverse and wonderful group of friends to share the moment with.
Yes We Did!
