Inside DIFFA’s Dining By Design Event
Every year I plan to head up to New York to attend DIFFA’s Dining By Design event. Unfortunately something always happens and I can’t attend, but I absolutely love looking at the images of the fantastic tabletop designs that are created. Designers develop the most breathtaking tabletops and environments. This year I had to share with you some images of my favorite tables by Architectural Digest, Kravet, Echo Design, Tilton Fenwick and David Ling.
Color and pattern were definitely present throughout the event. This table for Kravet was designed by Jonathan Adler. I love the fantastic lime green and gray pattern on the walls, and of course, all of the quirky Jonathan Adler vases on the table. It’s definitely a fun mix.
Echo created a global-inspired tabletop design. A beautiful woven wall became the backdrop for this eclectic environment. And I can’t get enough of the light fixture. It’s modern design meets cultural style at its best.
The lovely ladies of Tilton Fenwick created a romantic tablescape. The towering flowers and oversized blooms are absolutely fantastic.
And this table by David Ling is a beautiful blend of rustic elements with a modern lit table. It’s so sleek and streamlined. I love the look.
I really hope to make it to DIFFA next year to see designs like these in person. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
