Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs are the duo behind Street Etiquette. The popular website dedicated to men’s fashion is now a full-fledged creative agency. Kissi and Gumbs are known for their arresting photography and visual storytelling that’s informed by an urban perspective. Beautiful and always culturally-focused, the images by these two creatives are truly inspiring.
Starting in 2008, Street Etiquette became one of the first go-to sites for fashion photography that represented a Black point of view both in front of and behind the lens. Over the years, Kissi and Gumbs have taken us into worlds of well-dressed African American men in dapper suits, women of color sporting Black Ivy jackets and trend-setting ladies and gentlemen rocking skullies and bombers before the fashion media even knew they were in style.
With a client list including Adidas, Starbucks and the U.S. Open, Kissi and Gumbs are creating culturally-informed content that shows the true value of diversity in the world of fashion.
