Spanish interior designer, Mikel Irastorza, designs some of the most incredible spaces in the world. Known for designing classic interiors with white walls and beautiful architectural details, his home in San Sebastian, Spain could not be more of a departure from the designer’s regular M.O. Bright, multi-hued boucherouite rugs, colorful pottery and one-off pieces that have been collected during the designer’s travels have been used to create a modern interior with some serious edge.
Colorful rugs from Morocco are layered beautifully under Mid-Century modern pieces like this green side chair.
On the shelves are a mix of collected pieces, including some brightly hued pottery.
The dining room has rough-hewn concrete walls that gives this modern apartment a very urban feel.
Unique pieces like this tiger statue give the home a lot of personality.
The bedroom is a serene space with white walls and warm wood paneling.
